The Chromewire newsroom at night

Chromewire is an independent, reader-funded magazine covering street tech, net culture and the people who keep the grid honest. We started as a photocopied zine handed out at night markets and grew into a small newsroom with a server in a mop cupboard.

How we work

We publish reported features, photo essays, short notes from the newsroom and the occasional piece of fiction. Every story is edited by two people, and every correction is logged in public.

  • Address: 1047 Neon Row, Unit 3B, Harbor District, Port Meridian
  • Hours: Newsroom open Monday to Friday 10:00-22:00, Saturday 12:00-18:00
  • Email: signal@example.com
  • Phone: 555-0147

Pitch us a story or drop by the newsroom on a Thursday night for the reader meetup.
